The Anti-Fraud Alliance (AFA) is dedicated to increasing the effectiveness of fraud investigation and prosecution by presenting the very best in continuing education and networking opportunities for fraud professionals in connection with the suppression of fraud by private industry and law enforcement. Comprised of peace officers, state and federal investigators, insurance SIU personnel, corporate personnel, private investigators, experts, prosecutors and civil attorneys engaged in the fight against fraud, the AFA is unquestionably a national leader in focusing on the ever-present and growing problem of fraud in the making of claims in a variety of contexts, including workers’ compensation, automobile liability, health, disability and property.
The AFA is very pleased to have presented, along with the California Department of Insurance (CDI), the California District Attorneys Association (CDAA) and the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB), the immensely successful 27th Annual Anti-Fraud Conference in Monterey, California, which was held on March 23-25, 2016, at the Hyatt Regency Monterey. With attendance at approximately 500, the Annual Anti-Fraud Conference is firmly established as the best in the industry, offering numerous classes taught by leaders in the anti-fraud community and providing unsurpassed networking opportunities, all in the beautiful environs of the Monterey Peninsula.
In addition to the Annual Conference Anti-Fraud Conference, the AFA holds four quarterly meetings with each providing two hours of continuing education on topical fraud-related subjects, commentary on current legislation and events, and, as always, a chance for everyone to catch up with others in the anti-fraud community.
